當政府宣佈停課，政策背後的假設就是全港超過88萬的學童會有家長留在家中照顧，而留守家中擔任照顧者的，往往都是女性。我們的社會，由上到下都充斥著各式各種這種「假設」：生育照顧是女性的「天職」、女性比較溫柔細心，適合擔任照顧者、孩子最需要的是媽媽、需要兼顧孩子的女性無法勝任工作、男主外女主外是最有效率的家庭分、女性擔任照顧者應該是無償的，因為她們的付出是出於親情和愛，得到的是滿足感。這些假設背後是種種對於女性生涯規劃和個人理想的抑壓，以及對於照顧工作對社會的貢獻的漠視，試圖把者「照顧工作」的社會轉嫁到女性身上，同時合理化這種剝削。

Taking care of our emotions is one of the main tasks we have to deal with in our everyday life while living in the hustle and bustle. Sometimes we are trapped in the chain of emotions, and we need help and support to tackle it, and there is a group of people in society who are providing and sharing their care and support with us, but, have you ever thought that after they took off the role of caretaker, they were actually the same as you and me.
How do caretakers deal with emotions when they need to be exposed to different negative emotions at work every day? As caretakers, how can they take care of themselves? Only when we take good care of ourselves, then we have more power to take care of those in need around us.
The panel will invite caretakers from different sectors to share their experiences and discuss the self-care of caretakers.
Income excluding costs will be donated to Mission For Migrant Workers (MFMW)

- Participants please arrive 15 minutes before event start time.
- Sold tickets cannot be refunded.
- The Organizer reserves the right to reject any particular person to participate in the event without reasons.

- The Organizer reserves the right to amend the program of the rules and regulations. Should there be any dispute, the Organizer reserves the right to the final decision.
- Inclement Weather Arrangements:
- Black Rainstorm Warning: All programme will continue as scheduled.
- Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above: Programme that have started will continue. If warning signal is in effect 2 hours prior to the start of the programme, the programme will be cancelled. The programme may be re-scheduled, or the participants can choose to receive refund.
- Participant agrees to the main terms and conditions and specific terms and conditions when they purchase tickets or participate in the events.
